Terms of use

Short and plain. By using me3 you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use it. me3 is for adults aged 18 and over.
2. Don’t break the law with it. Don’t use me3 to harass, threaten or exploit anyone, to share illegal content (including any sexual content involving children), to defraud people or to send spam.
3. Reports. If we receive a report of serious crime, we may pass the information in it to the police.
4. No guarantees. me3 is an early, free service provided as it is. It has not been independently audited. We do our best to keep it secure and running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, that messages will always arrive, or that it is free of faults.
5. Your device, your keys. Your keys and messages exist only on your device. If you lose the device, forget your passphrase or wipe it, we cannot recover anything.
6. Fair use. We may limit how fast or how much a device can send, and we delete messages that haven’t been collected after seven days.
7. Changes. We may update these terms or the service. We’ll change the date below when we do.
8. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
